PRETENDED TO BE MY "CC COMPANY" (Scam call) reported by


The initial response when I answered was a robo voice telling me that my "credit card company" (didn't say which company... first clue it's a scam) had a approved me for an increase in my credit. I know my CC companies contact me by mail or email... NEVER by phone... I waited for the (Indian) person to answer and told him in no uncertain terms that "THIS IS AN EFFING SCAM CALLER AND TAKE MY NAME AND NUMBER OFF THE LIST"...I believe that he repeated the expletive to me... had nothing to do with him being Indian.. but it confirmed that this was not a legit call... i would have spoken to ANYONE that came on the line like that.

So they called, offered to lower my interest rate, I asked which card, Indian started mentiononig all the major CC/banks, including Sears, which I don't have. So I kept him on the line trying to confirm Sears account info,for about 10 minutes. Then he called me a MoFo and disconnected. Lots of fun!!!
