They called me 7 times within 5 hours. I finally answered and they told me they were from my bank fraud department. I told them I am an officer of the law and this is a scam and the caller hung up.

The number spoofs "SchoolsFirst FCU" to txt me a fraud detection alert. Asked that I call the number. The robo answer asks for my 16 digit credit card number. That's when I hung up. Credit unions and banks NEVER ask for your card number first to verify a report of fraud. Moreover - I don't have an account with Schools First FCU. It's a sneaky way to link my phone number with a cc number.

Left a text that said: "RE: SchoolsFirst FCU. Please contact us 24/7 at 805-490-5546" I this credit union is unknown to me and I do very little banking/financial investing, borrow, or planning, so I am certain it is a bogus call, the number is from California, and my cell number is from California because it's from my employer, I live on the east coast so I would not be involved with anyone in California in any way shape or form. Beware, good luck!

Received a text from this number saying it was regarding my bank. When I called the number they instantly had a recording asking for my bank number. The number of digits they requested was not even the number of digits my bank uses.
