Voice mail left on my phone stated my social security number has been used in fraudulent activity. If I don't respond back ASAP by phone that the FBI and Homeland Security would be contacting me.

They left a voicemail saying “there are legal enforcement actions (Scam call) reported by


filed against you and your Social Security number has been suspected for fraudulent activities so once you get this message kindly call us back as soon as possible or press one to speak to our investigating office...” I called back. Very Very noisy background and thick accent. They asked my name and birthdate. I gave that to them then proceeded to ask my social security number to open my account. I asked if they needed my full ssn, he replied yes. I told him I’ll wait until someone else calls me, and hung up.

Talked to someone with a thick eastern accent who said they were Officer Jeff Johnson with the Social Security Administration. When I asked about his Indian accent & told him that he sure didn't sound like a Jeff Johnson, I was called an **** & humg up on. Oh well excited to mess with them some too. Maybe next timw? N. '
