They claimed to be calling to tell me my Windows Security has expired. They called my business number which is brand new and I have never used anywhere. I hung up on them since it was so clearly a fake scam.

"renew your computer service" (Scam call) reported by


Missed call from this number claiming that they would deduct $399 from my account. Called back and a man with an accent asked if I wanted to renew my computer service. When I asked what service that was, he rattled something off that I couldn't understand. When I asked for the invoice number of the service he hung up on me.

Robo call. Left an incomplete message saying $?99.99 (voice mail began 99.99, don't know if they stated a higher number) will be deducted from my account. If you want to cancel deduction please call this number. It's a scam because I do not have any such subscriptions attached to my bank account.

stupidly I answer the phone and it was a recording stating that it was Microsoft going to deduct money from my account so I pushed one to be off of their calling system I was transferred to an so-called agent I told him I didn't have a computer he called me a liar and then it escalated from there don't push any button do not answer this call they are rude they are scammers they are liars

I answered the call to an automated message saying that 300 and something dollars would be deducted from my account for being a customer. I hung up and called back. An Indian dude with an accent answered saying his name was “George”. When I asked where he was calling from he hung up on me. I called back and asked why he hung up and he answered “ idk mam’ but my name is Nick” (it was the same guy). Huge red flag right there. He went on by saying if I remember making a payment 2yrs ago, which I shamelessly did, I answered his question with a question, sir who are you looking to speak with? I had to ask him 3 or 4 times while he was interrupting me by insisting the question. He finally said, well you called me from a blocked # (which I did) but if you give me your # I can tell you. I immediately press him with the following statement. “ You answered my call as if you knew who I was so.....” he then hung up again. These people are fraudulent. I know because I fell for it 2yrs ago, but not this time. I hope this information is helpful.
