started getting calls from this number about six months ago. added it to my blocked caller list, simply because i'm a reasonably intelligent adult, can generally discern dangerous weather on my own and don't need yet another distracting auto-call. looked at my call blocking app this morning (7/6/18) and there were EIGHT calls from this number between 10am and 3pm yesterday. EIGHT!

If you don't confirm you got the call, they keep calling you. I did the same thing and wondered but it is because they aren't registering that you blocked it, just that you didn't say you heard it. Annoying but...
