No announcement who they are they claim to have a lawsuit on me. (Debt collector) reported by


Fake legal scam they call what the phone ring once and then hang up or they let it go to voicemail and don't leave a message they refuse to announce who they are calling from the name of their company and the intention of their call then they call back and threaten you with a fake lawsuit threatening to come to my employer or home. I told them bring it on make sure you come with a warrant or you can meet my loaded 38. Bull crap. If there WAS an actual lawsuit, the law and due process would apply and I would be served paperwork so do not fall for the scam do not give them any information whatsoever. I have a legal background and I know what the law is trust me when I tell you they cannot file a lawsuit without serving you with proper paperwork and a debt collector cannot speak to anyone including your employer about any personal business matter or they face fines of up to $5,000 per infraction. File a complaint with the FCC Federal consumer complaint division. This act that they are putting on is completely illegal they are not following proper channels they are completely non-compliant.

Did you answer them? They have been calling about 7 times a day to my job, calling my parents, brother. Threatning to come to my job with some documents to "sue" me, I guess. Sally Jones doesn't even say where she is calling from. It's so frustrating!
