Unreasonable Repeat calling (Nuisance call) reported by PreciousMommy
I own a business and answer many calls from numbers I do not know. My caller ID did not show any comments to think it would waste my time. However, I received a call from her a week ago, and have played phone tag since then. Finally, we get to "text talk" today when I asked her what her call concerned. She said she "was returning a call I received." I asked her if she was job searching, or looking for services my business provides. She said no. I asked if there a was voicemail. She said "not the first couple calls." I asked her what the other calls said on the voicemail. She did not answer. When I asked her name she gave "Katerin Aguiluz." I searched Craigslist, indeed, my CRM and many other places where a find candidates, and/or clients. There was not any one with that name or phone number. The closest name was Katherine with the same last name, but had a different number and was not in Houston area. I did not find any name associated with this number, or businesses. There was not a linkedin, facebook or other place with the name. No harm was done, but she appears to be prank calling or just trying to annoy people. She could be a scammer or other criminal with an alternative motive. I am very suspicious since there is not any info or person with that name on the internet, and no purpose. I am definitely going to block it.
