This number has called me several times in the last week. It came up on my phone as potential scam so I didn't answer. Now they called my brother saying he was John Lewis and there are formal complaints filed against me, and I need to contact him or he will go to the next level.

Stated I had a formal complaint filed against me by John Lewis and were going to contact authorities. Robocall. Called my employer phone also. Called back and informed lady with accent that I did not have an account with Laser loans and not to call my cell phone or job again. Informed her that I know this was a spam call. She became angry and hung up on me.

These people called yesterday about the same time. It's from South Carolina and they say you have to call back right away or the next step will be " notifying the proper authorities." it's a scare tactic and a scam, don't answer.

pay day loan collectors (Debt collector) reported by


It is for a pay day loan from years ago. when you call them they don't follow the fdcpa and are just trying to collect on old debt if they can. collection agencies can say whatever they want but this is not on your credit report and they have not notified you in writing. when you call them on their bluff they hang up or get upset with you. they make commison off of you paying this.

Threatening male voice says, There have been complaints filed against <robo voices name> in our office. If you know the whereabouts of <robo voices name> call our office back at 843-534-5765. Our next step will be to contact the proper authorities." The same voice also calls from 866-684-9354. I've also received calls with the same script only with a female voice. It happens multiple times a day almost every day not just on my phone but all my relatives phones now too. Origin phone numbers change but are usually 800 numbers.

They called and I answered it and they said they had a formal complaint against my dad and to call back. So I did, 5 times. First time the mail box was full. Second time they answered, I complained that they made me call back and they hung up on me. 3rd and 4th time I asked for a manager, they immediately hung up. 5th time I asked for a manager and they transferred me (it was the same guy who answered). I walked through all of my complaints and frustrations. Felt good. I received a similar call about a year ago and told them the same thing I told them now. If they have a true formal/legal/debt issue they should contact the local authorities and use the proper channels. Oh they said their company was RS something.
