Fraudulent Hilton Honors Member Sales Call (Telemarketer) reported by Jenna
Man called claiming to work for Hilton Honors - somehow knew my first name and that I am a Hilton Honors member. Offered a 3 night 4 day stay for only $199. At first I thought it was legit, he caught me off guard at work. I said sure, email me the info and I'll take a look. He was extremely pushy and insisted we discuss it now and book it now as he "couldn't call back, they're an hourly outbound call center" that was the first red flag. I again reiterated I would be interested in more info but I was at work and could not talk, he again pushed and said ok then I'll put you as not interested, thanks anyways. I said if you're from Hilton then email me, he said OK I'll see if I can, real quick though, do you travel with your husband and kids and where would you want to go? I immediately hung up, no rep from Hilton is going to talk like that.

Caller said they were with Hilton Honors & was rewarding me with a free trip to certain places because he knows how hard it's been to travel lately. At the mention of Myrtle Beach I realized this was likely a telemarketer for timeshare or a vacation club so I hung up on him.
