A LADY CALLED NAMED LAUREN ROGERS STATING THAT A CIVIL SUMMONS WAS SENT ACROSS HER DESK AND THAT THEY WILL SERVE ME ON TOMORROW. SHE DIDNT PROVIDE A NAME OF THE COMPANY OR ANYTHING, SHE MENTION IS I HAVE A ISSUE WITH THE SCHEDULE DATE OF THE SUMMONS TO CALL 469 552 2867 TO CHANGE THE DATE. I CALLED THAT NUMBER NO COMPANY NAME ON VOICEMAIL OR ANYTHINGF. SHE CALLED ME TWO DAYS IN A ROW TO SAY THIS BULL CRAP.

Multiple calls from this number, recorded message implying they are from the FMCA and that a biennial update is due. As a dead giveaway, they're called my private number, which is not associated with any FMCA paperwork. Even if they do not say "I work for the FMCSA", the way they conduct themselves mislead you into thinking they do. They are trying to get you to pay for something that can take you less than 5 min and it's free. Under federal law, impersonating “an officer or employee acting under the authority of the United States" in order to demand or obtain "any money, document, or thing of value" can result in a fine as well as imprisonment for up to three years (18 USC § 912).

Specifically they mention FMCSA's reporting requirements which are accurate HOWEVER you dont need their service and their fees to do what you can do on your own for free. They make it sound as though they are FMCSA or represent this federal agency.
