Called to ask when I was going to pay my first utility bill. Facts: Bill statement date: Feb 18. Bill due date: Upon Receipt. USPS DELIVERED bill: Feb 25. FirstKey called: Feb 25. They called exactly FIVE business days from the date the bill was printed, about a half hour after I received it in the mail. They apologized and said that bills are usually mailed "much sooner" - I pointed out that it couldn't have been mailed much earlier since it was only printed within the last 7 days. Then: "Well, when do you plan on paying it? It DOES say 'due on receipt'". Yes it does, but FirstKey botched setting up my utility acct and I had no way to see or access my utility usage since I moved in. I finally get a bill for 3 months of usage, and you people have the gaul to A. make it payable immediately, and B. start collections phone calls when the earliest I could possibly have received the bill in the mail was no more than 2 days ago, but in fact only received it a half hour ago!
