Left a message saying they would be delivering a package no later than Friday at 5pm. Did not say who they were or where they were calling from. They left a number (same number that called me) and said to call for more details. I have not called but I do believe this is a scam.

Called from 4074703740 stating they were delivering legal documents to Erica. But there is no Erica associated with my phone. Called back and left voicemail stating I didn't know what they were talking about or who Erica was. The voicemail indicated I was leaving a message for Jason. Then I called the number they referenced in the voicemail they left me. 8444033482. Person answered almost immediately but did not identify themself or a company. Told them I received a message for Erica, who is not associated with my phone. They asked if my phone number ended in the last four digits which were correct. I said yes and they said they'd take it off the list. They asked if I'd received other calls on other numbers and I said not unless they called my husband. They asked what his number was and I gave it (which I probably should not have) and he said he checked and it was not on his list. Then he thanked me and ended call rather quickly. That's when I googled the number and found this.

Says They are From Eastern Recovery or ACE Cash Express (Scam call) reported by


I received the same voicemail message saying they will delivery a package by Friday. Doesn't give specifics. I called the number and the man took awhile to identify himself (Eastern Recovery associates), but somehow had the last 4 digits of my social security number and said that I owed ACE Cash Express for some money they let me borrow in a pay day loan and that because the bank account was no longer valid, they will be sending me legal documents by mail to appear in court. They alleged that they would sue for bank fraud and theft. However, I work in the legal field and this is not the appropriate way people are served. I kept hearing my voice echo throughout the call and asked the man if he was recording me. He became very angry when I told him that it was illegal for him to record me without my consent. I believe these people are scammers trying to scare people into giving them their banking information by alleging some fake debt.

Robo-caller claiming that "there is a packaged scheduled to be delivered in a few days". It does not state the name of the sender, the company or service delivering the package or the name of the company calling.It also does not give the option to speak immediately to a representative, but it does state that this is an urgent "legal" matter. Instead, the recording tells you to call the number back if you wish to speak to a live representative. I've blocked this number 3 times for today from different variations of this number and they're still calling.

Hmm, even the Caller ID doesn't say some info, does someone know who is this? Have got a missed call from this one, don't wanna call back since I do not know the number... And as it seems also someone else was looking for the same number - people did someone answer it? Who is behind this number?
