This person, heavy mid-east accent, woke me up and asked if I was (my father), I said no, but my number is on his account and you can call him at the other number... He said oh, yes, I will do that. My 90-year-old dad called me about 10 minutes later and said the guy asked him for the last four digits of his social security number. Like, rule #1 is that you NEVER give anyone that type of information unless you initiated the call! Thankfully, dad knows not to give out that info and hung up. Later in the evening, the SAME GUY called me again and said he was from Hyundai Finance... I said, 'no, you're not, you're a scammer, lose this number" Well, inappropriate questions aside, it might actually have been SOMEONE from Hyundai Finance because I discovered dad's account was, in fact, 6 days overdue and I paid it immediately. Even then, only six days and the finance department is calling? That's weird. Usually, you're account would need to lapse at least 30 days before they sick the dogs on you! Especially since this is the sixth car dad financed with them...a little good faith here? AAAND, are they actually being instructed to verify by asking for sensitive information? Anyway, I just told dad never to answer any strange phone calls, regardless of who they might be. The real punchline is that I tried calling Hyundai Finance and told her (who sounded just like the guy this morning) this story and she had no idea what I was saying. She said, "we don't make any outgoing calls from here, only take incoming calls. I said, "I didn't ask you to make a call, I'm telling you what happened, aren't you interested in knowing this? Silence. Silence. Silence... then I was disconnected. LOL

They call 3+ times a day, I don't buy Hyundai's, I own a Toyota. Unless my Finance Company sold my loan to a Hyundai dealership, there's no reason to be calling me

This person wanted ME to verify sensitive financial information stating they were collections at Hyundai Motor Finance. I worked in a call center - proper etiquette is to verify the customer's info for them to confirm versis asking for it. I did just return a lease and start a new one. My account is paid in full for both the returned lease and the new one since first month was paid at the lease agreement. Told this person as much and told them never to call again.

This is Hyundai Motor company debt collection. I notified them that the person they were calling for was a former employee of mine and that Hyundai should stop calling me. They asked me to contact the person instead and have her correct the did not agree to stop calling me. I will be reporting this company if they continue to call me.

Payment arrangement had been set and they continue to call non-stop. I told him he should take a look at the notes on the account - payment arrangement set.

Voicemail was left stating they would deliver certified documents to my home or employment and have a supervisor and security present. If they could not locate me then I would miss a court date. Gave me a call back number and a reference number that was muffled so unable to call back to get more information.
