Called threatening litigation over delinquent account (Debt collector) reported by


Called this # and was told they were Attorneys (Lincoln Group) in California working with Judicial Services, I called Judicial Services as that company to find out why the message they left said I was being sued. No answer. Called back the Lincoln Group to get answers (advised from my local law enforcement agency) and was immediately told they will send me court documents within 72 hours bc the bank "doesn't want to deal with me". So I called the card company asking why this was happening since I was on a payment plan - gave them the contact information & story that they were threatening to sue me - THE BANK WAS NOT INVOLVED!!! The pay off balance was $800 < than what Lincoln Group stated. PLUS They had never heard of them, my formedelinquent account was satisfactory and was told they were scammers trying to scare people into paying so that they could make $$ on the recovery. It's too bad because now I'm hunting them down - threats from 'couldn't quite make it as real attorneys' should be stopped. Luckily I was smart enough to research and call the bank directly and advise people to do the same DO NOT BE TAKEN ADVATAGE OF. P.S. the best part is after several calls of me trying to get basic information on this so called lawsuit & Judicial Srvcs -I WAS BLOCKED LOL. Yeah - imagine that? A law firm - blocking a concerned party because I wanted information on this suit& they were being questioned. The folks I dealt with were J.Vamper "agent" Gabrielle Simpson "Supervisor", Greg Jeffries "Supervisor" Michaela "agent" Greg Jeffries who was 'escalating' this hung up on me & I was blocked now I get a disconnected # message. P.S. Judicial Services message left and recorded on VM by Sabia...they never answered. I am taking this to my local Gov't to see a change - sure life happens and collections are needed but not threatening liars - sorry - this is unacceptable! I imagine a small % unknowingly fall for it - I am not that % - do your homework people! ASK and ASK again!
