Tried to sell me anti theft stickers for my brand new vehicle. I unfortunately had to let her know that the dealership I got my vehicle from gave me these stickers for free lol. She was not happy about that and proceeded to tell me that this stickers don’t work

I receive an official looking notice by mail that they were offering me an Anti-Theft Tracking & Expiration Notice... I called them to find out about it, because it caught my interest... Very nice lady, BUT, trying to sell me a worthless insurance kind of policy for a mere $143! All of which were already covered on my regular Auto Insurance and by the Police... blocked the number. Shredded the official notice!

Female informed me that they could trace my stolen vehicle through the transguide cameras. I told her that the police would be able to do this as well as I . I was not going to give her my car VIN or pay her for this service as she was not going to chip my car so that she would be able to locate it. So she was unable to tell me how she would locate it other than looking for it on the cameras. Anyone can get onto Tx Dot. Do not give her your credit card information or your new car VIN. She is not associated with any automobile vendors.

This company sends mailings stating ANTI-THEFT EXPIRATION NOTICE with bold and highlighted REQUIRED to make you think it is important. Pure deception. Scammers preying upon consumers.
