Trying to collect a payday loan I NEVER had approximately 8 years AFTER the statute of limitations would have expired if I had actually taken out the stupid loan in the first place. Company is supposedly ACE Cash Express. There really IS an ACE Cash Express who makes payday loans but they claim this is not them calling & are working with the F.B.I. to clear their name. These people also send very threatening emails written in Third World English making all kinds of illegal threats. Funny thing about the email...they demand immediate payment before they "download your lawsuit," (WTF izzat??) yet the email provides NO remittance address nor even a phone # to call to speak to this supposed lawyer. If they didn't have so much of my personal info, I would laugh at how unprofessional & horrendously written/worded their emails & voicemails are. NO self-respecting attorney who actually graduated from 4 years of undergraduate college PLUS 3 years of law school could possibly produce something so unprofessional. DO NOT call them back. They will realize your number is a live one and keep calling and harrassing you. Your best bet is to block this # AND the call back # & report them to the F.B.I.'s IC3 Internet Crime Division. If you are worried about your personal info, notify your bank & put a fraud alert on your credit report. These guys aren't real. They are just hoping to reach that trusting person who believes they are real & will pay money they don't really owe to avoid legal action this is not going to happen. Its a total scam. Do not fall for it!

They have the wrong party, but the ignorant, and extremely rude telephone clerks will not correct their information. Most unprofessional people I've ever dealt with...Ughhh!
