I called United Healthcare after receiving two previous calls from this number. I started to call the number that was left (844-680-51xx) but as a precaution against scammers I elected to call the number listed for UHC on the back of my card. I spoke to a representative who looked up the phone number and was told this number did not come back to any of their departments, was also told they had nothing in their notes to indicate anyone should be calling me. After looking into this further it appears to be a 3rd party agency that calls on behalf of United Healthcare to schedule appointments and/or give reminders on certain screenings that they recommend having done.

This is a vendor for UHC to call with appointment reminders and schedule appointments for those that want them to schedule for them. They are great to work with helped me as i didn't have to take time out of my day to get scheduled myself

Number not listed as associated with United Healthcare yet they claimed to be United Healthcare. They wouldn't give any info about why they were calling until I gave them a bunch of personal information (which I obviously refused). When I called United Healthcare, they said they never called me and didn't have any info for me.
