This is a fruad alert on credit and debit cards. If it sees unusual activity on your card it will alert you to the activity and allow you to determine are the transactions yours or not. Very helpful. Can be turned on or off on your card. It is a service provided by your bank or credit card authority. Has helped me catch and stop credit card fraud early twice and has called about three times to alert me when there was no problem. (was on vacation and activity was unusual ie I was out of town.)

Received text message stating my card had a certain balance on it and wanted me to reply yes if it was true. Well it wasn’t because the amount it said was wrong. I did not answer but this is the 3rd time I’ve gotten this text. And now I’m receiving calls stating the same thing. But never says what company they are with. I didn’t answer. They left a voicemail. Don’t answer it’s most likely a scam trying to get more of your information to take your money

I received this call saying it was the fraud line of my bank. Got a human person named Jericho. I wasn’t comfortable with giving any info, he sounded very disappointed but suggested I call the bank. I’m glad I searched the number and came across this website and other ones saying this was a scam call. BE CAREFUL DONT GIVE OUT ANY INFO INCLUDING YOUR ZIP!

My call said I had a fraudelent entry on my card, then gave my the last 4 digits and asked if this was my card. I pressed 1 for yes, then was asked to enter my zip code. I hanged up before that.
