Said he'd be by my house in 5 min to serve me. Said I've been summoned. I asked for what he said if you dont know call this number (8447038350; he called from 521-6610). I went straight to this site to look up the number and sure enough there it was!

cloned the magistrate number to say being served & asked $ (Scam call) reported by


I got a call from a number today saying I was being served with a summons. I asked for what and was given the number 844-807-8350 and was told it was "pre Legal" and to call between 3-6. Called and the guy said it was for a credit card debt that was over 4 years ago (didn't have one then). Said to pay him now or before the end of day or my cost would go from $618.93 to $2647.18. said I would have to be in court on Wednesday and it would be the full costs. Asked me for payment options like checking account or credit card to settle it. I said let me think about this. Called my son who handles credit concerns for people. He said he thought it was a scam. I googled the orignal number that called me and it said "magistrate court" for our local county. I googleld the second number and was taken to this. My son called the magistrate court and they said no server would call and/or refer anyone to a number like that and that their number is often cloned to use in these scams. Shame on these folks!!!

Arbitration for the County (Debt collector) reported by


I called 844-807-8350. He said he was the Administrator for the County Arbitration. He told me that I can pay the debt now so I don't have to go to court trial in a week. I told him I will see them in court. He has my personal information (name, address, phone, ss# and dob) and also has the court address. But when I asked him for the case number, department number and the room number for the court trial, he got mad and said it will be in the letter left by the front door by the process server. The statue of limitations in California for credit card debt is FOUR YEARS. The process server will never call you first and leave a voice mail for delivery and leave a letter by the front door.
