Okay I just called Kaiser this afternoon on my lunch break. Then an hour and a half later I get a robocall telling me to return the call to Kaiser. I call back go through the hoops (And without thinking did provid emy Birthday) She provided me my Medical ID #, and she had a specific and clear Debt amount I do owe them. She asked to take my payment for that Debt. (I tried this afternoon to pay the debt but was at the wrong dept when I called in. I ended up not paying the debt due to lunch ending.) When I asked her if I could pay through the website using the Medical ID # she provided she she said "yes absolutely, that would fine." When I asked if I could call her back later she said "we close the office in 10 minutes (It was 10mins to 5pm) and their website does confirm they do close at 5pm my local time. IF THIS IS A SCAM, they have an awful lot of information, including details about my bill and my account. They know to the penny how much I had outstanding and the exact day I went to the Doctor and she even told me the sort of procedure I had done that was done on the bill. She knew a lot more than your average scammer. At the end of the day. She said I could pay online and that's what I plan to do.

Left a message saying they were from Kaiser, my health insurance company. The number was different from the normal Kaiser numbers so I called the main Kaiser number from the back of my insurance card. Kaiser informed me they had not tried to contact me and the number was most likely a scam

I know for a fact that my Kaiser account is clear of any billing issues yet I keep getting calls from this number. It's very convincing, and even has a recording of my first name. However, Kaiser will always use your full name, and they will never call you about finances. They send bills through the mail or will talk to you when you are there in person. This is a SCAM don't be fooled

After this I called Kaiser directly and asked about this. They said there was nothing on my records to warrant a call, account was current and clear. She was not able to search the number in their internal lists, and is reporting it to their internal security department.

The message left by this number told me to call "Kaiser Permanente's Business Office" - that they "need to talk to me." They left an "844" number that is dramatically different than ANY Kaiser number I've ever called - for business or clinical care. When I called, it asked me for my phone number, member #., date of birth. I got a bad feeling in my gut and hung up. I called Kaiser Permanente's "real" number and spoke with Member Services. They confirmed that it is absolutely a scam. They don't have anything that calls members that's called a "Business Office" and the number is absolutely *not* one of theirs. I hate seeing some positive reactions on here to this being an actual, official number of KP's. It's not. If you don't believe me, call the usual Member Services number for your local office and they can prove it to you. :)

I just got a call from that number 2day. Although they called me but never answer. I called kaiser b ask if they called me and said no msg or call for me. So i believed and i know this s a scam...
