Message said to be from a firm working with "Discovery School of Buffalo", which doesn't exist. Said he was looking for a real estate agent. A school would not need a real estate agent, as they would do everything through an attorney. Total scam!

Called our Financial Advisor office saying she was Erin Russe from the local Century 21and gave address - they were looking for local advisors to refer clients to - when she gave a phone # that was not in our area code I was pretty sure it was a scam. Yup. I don't know who this The Ferraro Group is but there must be a law against calling people under false pretenses.

Called "On Behalf" of a local school (Call centre) reported by


Called my small XYZ business line, which I have to screen because I get so many robo calls. They left a message, very well spoken. Person left her name and extension and said she was calling on behalf of {Local School} and they were looking for "local xyz" for a "special project". I called the number back and got an answerings line for The Ferraro Group, so I hung up as I'm not interested in marketing with a outsourcing company. I only called since I thought it may be an actual local school.

They claim to make school folders and they do not. They sell ads to local businesses and then never make the product. They go by Ferraro Group, Schoolhouse Folders, or Production Media Company. They all have the same address in Beaverton, OR. Please check them out on the Better Business Bureau.

On behalf of vs from can be quite confusing I’m sure. Have you even bothered to look at the now near 350 5 star reviews, because someone calls you out of the blue doesn’t mean scam. It means do your own research and look into anything that doesn’t make sense. I bet you just assume. Which means you would rather choose to be wrong rather than find out the info. Pure Laziness.

Called to offer to feature my business in the homework folders with a local middle school for $395 for one year. Gave me the name of the actual school, location, and how many families that attend there..I'm assuming to appear legit. I said I'd think about it and she offered to let me pay 1/2 down as a retainer. I asked if I could get back to her, she said I could give her my email which Ididn't do. Hung up suspecting a scam.

This is a misleading call - left a message that it was PK Real Estate, and they were doing a "special project" and looking for real estate attorneys. Call was actually from The Ferraro Group in Beaverton, OR - they market folders with advertisements on them.
