FACTS

This would be Exeter Finance welcome call line. A courtesy phone call made to all newly funded customers via automated dialer. If no audio is picked up by dialer call is never connected to representative. If no direct response is given in regards to who is speaking no info (courtesy call) can be given. If call is missed and you try calling back to return the missed call one piece of private info (acct# or SSN) & 2 public pieces of info (Name & Address/ Tel#) is required. However, if you do not feel comfortable still giving the information it’s best to just wait on another call from the company & all that will be required is you to verify you’re the party they wish to speak with. The purpose of the call is just to verify no recent changes to contact info, making sure you received your welcome letter, payment options, grace periods, credit reporting, due date changes, & most importantly answer any questions you may have pertaining to your NEW account with them.

I'm very confused about the negative ratings and negative comments about this phone # because when calling this # they say they are Exeter Finance and I have a brand new loan with Exeter and I have been expecting a welcome call from Exeter but my phone blocked this # due to All of the negative ratings. This is very concerning and confusing to me and now I don't know whether to trust this #!! I really do think this phone # is legit and is truly Exeter Finance. so I guess if this # calls you and IF you have a loan with Exeter Finance you should probably accept the call. just NEVER give your banking info over the phone!!
