A robo call asking me to caul their fraud department to discuss potential fraudulent use of my card. I haven't touched that card in months, so I logged in online and there are ZERO transactions. Based on that and the fact that they have asked others in this thread for the card number and other personally identifiable info, I am reporting this is an absolute scam.

They left voicemail to call back with case number. I did and went through whole call. It said there was a purchase that had been charged to my card by an online service provider. After hanging up, I checked my online account and there had been no transactions posted today. So that's fishy, but they were able to tell me the transaction had been denied. So maybe they're legit? ????

I received the standard voice mail “this is fraud prevention please call back with this case number” so I searched credit karmas site and it said that they wouldn’t ask for the card number or other information etc. so I called back and it “couldn’t find my case with the phone number or case number” transferred me to the live agent who was “pulling up her systems” then asked me for my card number. So I gave them a real sounding fake one, they said there was a 3,867.62 charge and that they would reverse it and that’s when I told them it not only wasn’t a real card number, but I was recording and would report them, obviously they’re abroad and will go nowhere, she proceeded to try and assure me they were real and this matter is important, I said they should have pig blood spread on them for preying on people and she started swearing at me so I hung up.

Called and asked me to verify purchases recently made left a case number which I wrote down and called them back. Entered my phone number and they couldn't locate my info so I chose option to enter the case number and they still couldn't find my info I got suspicious and called the number on my card and they said there was no issues with my account but they have gotten NUMEROUS complaints about this happening from this number. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO it is a scam

They had the last 4 of my card number and wanted me to pick from different last 4 of social numbers. I hung up. I have had credit karma call me for using my card and they thought it was fraud and I have my phone set to verify scam calls and this call that just came through was labeled scam. When credit karma called me it was a person and it wasn’t labeled scam and my card wasn’t working and they knew that and told me the transactions and asked if I did them and that was it, didn’t ask for any social, card number or anything just ask To speak to my name when I answered so this is a scam and my phone even told me ????

Robocall left voice message stating they need to verify transactions from a year ago. The thing is that I don't even use my account and it has $3 in it forever. So a total scam to get information needed to steal my identity.

Got voicemail saying it was credit karma fraud alert and to call this number back and they gave a case ID number. Call the number back and first it said it didn't recognize the phone number I was calling from and wanted the case number so I entered that then they said they could not find that number so I tried entering again in case I made a mistake but no the same thing happened again. So if they called my number how can I not have my number and if they gave me a case number how can I not have the case number? It all sounds pretty fishy to me.

Using your card initially or in a different way triggers this call. I advised them to change tactics as this approach has classic Scam features and no one is comfortable giving out their card # via phone. Call the # on the back of your card first, and they can connect you with Fraud Prevention if truly necessary.

This is NOT credit karma this is a scam. I had just purchased something off of Amazon UK, so I thought it was legit and called them back. They said they couldn't find my phone number, and the case number didn't work. So they asked for my full card number. I told them I wasn't comfortable with providing that. They asked for the last 6 digits of my number. I said that I would just contact Credit Karma's online support directly through my account. They had an American accent, they were polite, but your card company will NEVER ask for your full card number over the phone. When in doubt do not provide information. I contacted Credit Karma through their online support and sure enough it was a scam call.

Said they needed to alert me about recent transactions on my account, followed with the card number and a case number with a phone number to call them back at. Only thing is I haven't used my credit karma card, nor is there a transaction of recent for that account for them to be calling me about considering that there has only been about $5 in it for a year. Has to be a scam call. Only concerning thing is is how did they get the card number? If it weren't a scam call, why would credit Karma fraud services be concerned about transactions made a year ago for an account having around $5 in it? My actual bank doesn't even have that level of customer service. Something fishy about this one.

So I just did my taxes last night through turbo tax. Did the refund advance which is through credit karma money spend. I only have a virtual card but that number called me today left a message saying the same thing. They said they were calling about ready alert for card number ending with my last 4. They then said to call that number back & they gave me a reference number. So I wrote it down checked it 7 times. When I called the number back it said the number I'm calling from doesn't match the number on the account. Funny since they called this number to tell me all this. Then it said I could push 2 to type in the reference # they gave me. So I did but it wasn't right. I went over it a bunch still wouldn't work so right there after my # not matching I was suspicious. So then I push zero to speak to somebody which in Arabic type Guy game on the phone said who am I speaking with. That right there says a lot since they should know who they're speaking with cuz they should have my information. Then they go to say is the number*** which they only read off the first 3 # of my phone #. I said yes then they said ok let me pull up all ur information. He then asked me for my address which I stopped cause at that point I was beyond suspicious so I try to pull up the actual credit karma fraud number online while I was on the phone with him. Saw real quick it was a different number obviously starting with 1888 not 844. I then hung up and then looked more into it which on credit karma site it even has this stating that if you received a call from credit karma fraud protection number and you're not sure if it's the correct number then to call the number on the back of our card. I don't have my card yet but I looked more into it saw the number was not the same then I searched this number that they called me from. Which then I came across this site and I came across others stating the same situation and that it was a scam. So 100%. It's a scam they said that I wouldn't be able to us

Said they’re looking to verify recent transactions for someone I don’t even know. I went through the prompts and they automated service apologized and said my number would be removed. It was not, woke me up on a Saturday Morning. Now becoming Nuisance calling, as they call 2/3 times a day.
