They also call from 800-877-8572, at very random times of day, even on the weekends. In our case it is a valid call due to a hospital debt that I have refused to pay until they process it correctly with my insurance.

Prerecorded message of "this is an important message from your healthcare provider", a second of silence, then they hangup. They call often, at random times, no idea what they want. If they're trying to scam me, they never stay on to do so. Maybe it's just to see if I have a working phone number to sell.

Trying to collect on a debt that the insurance company has already paid. I have an HMO/PPO. They are suppose to write off this balance after insurance paid their share. I have no deductible. They are trying to collect for somethins they cannot even explain when questions get asked. Contacted my insurance co who stated not to pay since it was already paid by them.
