Initially called and stated it was regarding my car payment. Then changed 2 sentences later to insurance sales comparisons. I noticed the number was local to me, out of Jay FL, and I asked what the company name was and location in Jay. The lady immediately hung up on me before I could finish that question.

I answered call. It was some man who said he was calling about my vehicle payment. I asked who he was looking for then he hung up. I blocked the number.

"Jason" said he works with some car insurance company that works with state Farm, allstate, and progressive to lower your car insurance rates. Very demanding. The first thing he asked was how I was doing, ignored me asking back, then went straight into his schpeel about the "company" he works for and asked me my zip code. I told him I wasn't comfortable giving that information out. He then mentioned the insurance companies they "work with to lower your rates," and asked who my provider was. I didn't even finish saying, "I'd rather not because I only pay $100 a month for insurance," before he interrupted me, thanked me for my time and hung up. I immediately added the number to my block list.
