Basically, they want you back after you leave them. I have blocked them because calling me in the spam of 6 months is harassment.

Not actually Fido Customer Retention Services though. They offer a discount to get you back as a Fido customer but that is just a front to try to get your credit card info after (yes i wanted the discount so i went a bit forward with the call). They had a lot of my information already and tried to confirm it(credit card number, address) and get some details that they were missing. It is indeed a scam, it has nothing to do with Fido.

This number has called me a dozen times in the last week or so. It never leaves a voicemail and hangs up if I answer. I did just switch my phone to another carrier from Fido and this number never called my old phone - I checked its history. If it is Fido, it's not a very good retention method! I've now blocked it.

Same thing here. Switched to another carrier from fido and get this call a week later. No voice mail and hangs up when i answer

Same here! I just switched my number to Telus from Fido the day before yesterday, and I got calls from this number three times today!!

Cell service cancel SCAM (Scam call) reported by


Caller said they were from Rogers but I confirmed from Rogers directly that this is SCAM caller. I recently moved my phone # from Rogers to a new cell provider. I received an email from [email protected] stating they would call my to get back my service. I confirmed with Rogers that this email and phone call is not from Rogers and is a SCAM!
