I received a call from this number claiming to be from Cashapp and claiming that there was something wrong with my account. Saying that they have blocked my account and gave me a different number to call. Here's the message I got: "Hi We have found some suspicious activities on your cashapp call Fyfe 18615961 we have blocked your cashapp to unblock call 518-615-9614." Here's the problem with that: I don't have a Cashapp account. I had the app but had yet to create an account. I deleted the app and I won't use it again.

phone rang I picked it up it was Robo dialed finally somebody answered they told me that they were from cat they were calling because they noticed suspicious activity on my cash call I don't even know what that is then read me a string of numbers to convince me and I said I don't know what those numbers are then he started repeating Cash Call and that string of numbers and I know it's a scam so I just kept repeating you're a liar you're a liar you're a liar and he kept on talking and talking so I hung up block this call it's a scam.

Call went to voice mail. Allegedly from Cash App about a vague 'problem'. I do not use Cash App. (and now, I never will as their security is obviously bottom tier) Caller heavily accented and barely cogent in English. Number calling shows Cash App number but the message gives a different number for call back. Blocked and deleted.

If you are dialing inbound, it will not lead to an agent. If you are receiving a call - If you requested for callback support in the app, then it should not be a surprise. IF YOU DID NOT request support in the Cash App, it is a scammer spoofing the company number trying to steal your info.
