I got a call from this number saying that they are part of the SEIU union. Which is fine, then they prompted that they wanted me to state my first and last name on a recorded line; listen to a couple of messages stating "YES" or "NO". I told them that I do not feel comfortable with that. Id like something sent to me, however, they gave me the option of going on their website. WHICH I DID WHILE THEY ARE ON THE PHONE WITH ME. www.seiulocal2015.org. IT IS NOT a working website!!! Which I told them on the phone, he was like, right. I could text it to you and you could just respond via text. VERY FISHY and ODD. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! Hope this helps.

If you work for IHSS you more than likely will get a call from them. If you don't work for IHSS let them know they got your number from the person that does. They will take it off their list.

First of all this is NOT In Home Support Services, IHSS is a government organization and most providers who work for IHSS are providers for disabled, handicapped, elderly, et. al. persons. If you have someone at home who is very ill and requires assistance with life care, the provider (who is a member of the SEIU 15) are the persons they are calling for or trying to contact. If you ever had someone to assist with a bath... to prepare a meal, you may have come in contact with a union card carrying provider.

there was a person that called me and i answered, and strangely they didn't talk but they were aware of me having been there and they were almost having me listen to a discussion between multiple people about SF. around 2:27 seconds they began to count to 2:30 but then stopped and gave a light chuckle. It was weird.

They keep calling my 67 y.o. husband who has stage 4 cancer asking for some woman he said he doesnt know. He told them to stop calling but they keep calling. It is turning into harassment. This union should not be considered "non-profit". They are a hardcore political lobbyist. Workers have to pay dues (whether they want to or not) that are used to further the organization's agenda even if the worker doesn't support the issues being pushed by the union, which are not necessarily in the best interest of the worker. They falsely claim to protect workers from being taken advantage of, but extorting dues out of people wanting to work is itself taking advantage them.
