So I had a missed call from 855.8183727. Here is the “visual voicemail” “Hi this is Kathy from America and the debt collector and this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained would be that purpose you can get a hold of _****_****_****_****_****_****_****_****_****_ me a call bye-bye _****_****_****_ to chat the number to reach me is toll-free 855-813-973_****_****_****_****_****_****_****_****_ _****_****_****_****_****_****_****_ at www.America lack paid com I'm in the office at 7 AM until 11 PM Monday through Friday and 8 AM until 5 PM on Saturday if I have the wrong number please feel free to give me a call and let me know thank you and have a great day…” I have no bad debts so I was going to ignore it. However then I started thinking what if someone opened something in my name or who knows....so I decided to call. Within first ring someone answers. And I did notice she never said hi I’m calling for so and so....which I thought was kinda weird. Me: I received a call to call back this number Supposed Debt Collector: What is the number we called you at Me: 113-456-7890. (But my real number :). SDC: Can I please have your name Me: No...You called me, you can tell me my name SDC: Well I cant give you that info Me: I’m protecting myself with all the scams going on, you called me and wanted me to call you....you can tell me who you are looking for. SDC: I’m protecting people and I can’t give you that info. I see here there are numerous accounts open with that number. Me: Well “Kathy” never even said who she called for. You can tel me the first name without a last name of who you are looking for. SDC: No I can’t. And anyways we didn’t call this number today Me: Really? I didn’t just receive a call 10 minutes with a voicemail? SDC: No we didn’t call you today Me: Oh ok bye First of all they did call and didn’t specify even a name. When I refused to give my name and the refused to give me a first name, she then tells me they neve
