Subaru said it wasn't their locksmith they demanded payment (Scam call) reported by


I received a call from this number saying they needed me to provide a credit card number for the locksmith service. We called Subaru roadside, I had never been asked for payment. When I called Subaru they said it hadn't been assigned to a lock smith. They would notify by text so some how this company is getting Subarus dispatch requests and trying to exploit them. The vehicle that showed up was a plain vehicle no logo

I called a locksmith in my area and talked to someone which explained that they could not help me. After a few minutes I received a call from this number and they asked if I still needed their help. I told them I was told they could not help, and he asked if I would take a picture of the lock and send it to them. I feelers came up and I told him know if I still needed their help I would call them back.

Claimed to be a locksmith center calling me back because we had been disconnected. I had not called for a locksmith. When I asked what number they were calling, the guy would not respond and said, sorry this must be a wrong number.

Directed me to an Indian lady after I called to get a locksmith in my area. I gave her my address so she could send someone. A "technician" called be back...and it sounded like a damn call center behind him.
