Fake SS Ticker to Work. Govt uses .gov websites and doesn't call people asking for their name and SS #. Scam. Also, called back, guy had an Indian accent!

Ok, got this call too, am on SSDI.  Looks like SS is selling our info. to this 3rd party.  I called them back and said not to call me again, I am mostly deaf, guy tried to say to go to their website and opt out.  No, I'm telling you not to call me again and I am recording this call.  Since getting SSDI, that is monthly only, still never paid my 2 years of back pay, I have had a HUGE uptick of scam phone calls and emails, huge.  Some days I get a dozen calls.  Emails who know my first and last name.  Anyway, when I called back this number, sure enough, the guy had a straight up Indian accent.  He wanted my name and SS#!  Of course I didn't give it to him. This is off their crappy Ticket to Work website, it is this #, why SS would be selling our personal info., no idea.  Just an FYI, the DMV does this too, so use a fake # there. "Did You Receive a Call from 1-855-835-0010 or 1-855-453-7196? The phone call you received was from Social Security's Ticket to Work program. Ticket to work is a free and voluntary Social Security program that helps people who receive disability benefits return to work or work for the first time. The call refers eligible beneficiaries to Ticket to Work's Help line at 1-866-968-7842 or 1-866-833-2967 (TTY) and to https://choosework.net/mycall/. One of Social Security's contractors manages this site and the Help Line." I didn't fight SS for 8 years, becoming more disabled in the process, not being able to work FT, and have to hire a lawyer who got 25% of my earnings to fight SS...just to go back to work and gain my "financial independence".  Outrageous!
