Of course it's a scam. The lady hung up on me when I answered "um, sure" when she asked if I wanted to lower my rates because she knew immediately what I was about to say. But hey, I love getting paid for unsolicited calls since I'm on the federal register!

The automated call said that it was urgent that I call regarding my credit card. It also said that this was my final notice. I have gotten the same recording from various numbers.

Most often it is Rachael from Credit Card Services telling me it is my last time I will be called to lower the rates on my credit card and I have asked the agent in the past to remove my name from his calling list and told me to get screwed and that he would not as he gets paid for every call he makes rather than how many people use the service. I have put the number on the blocked list and it expires but they never stop calling which is against the Federal Do Not Call List rules. The agent does not care! He has never been contacted and I usually hang up on them. Tonight he called while I was at Church! The ringer was silent. I would like them to stop calling me!
