This is the Microsoft security software refund scam that is run by a gang of criminals out of India who use a U.S. number as a front. It has been reported numerous times and by numerous good people to the federal, state, and local authorities that are supposed to protect us from phone fraud and still these guys are in operation. Please write your congressman and or call and ask her/him to draft, pass, and enact Federal legislation to put businesses like this in jail! It will not happen as long as the greedy phone companies insist on not disclosing who is behind these types of accounts. The Feds need to force the phone company monopoly to cooperate with the interests of the public. There has been some progress from consumers writing and calling various TV stations, who often have investigative reporters on their local channel staffs, who monitor consumer fraud operations. Please give them this information about robocalls such as this one, so they can publicize who the **** are, (These guys using 858-248-45xx definitely are!), and alert innocent folks, especially seniors, not to fall prey. Fortunately, thanks to the great network of listeners using this app, I had long been alerted right away about these scammers and did not answer. But instead, programmed the call to go to my Autobot software, which gives them back a taste of their own medicine, which is of course to cheat us. I also have them on a re-text program which sends them back copies of all the bogus offers known locally: including trying to sell them phony Micrisoft security plans and antiviral subscriptions to non-existent products; getting then to buy a year's supply of organ-stiffening pills; enticing them into bulk purchase of **** itch creams, and an offer to buy their house and that of their mother-in-law, which asks them to contact specific names and numbers of the wide selection of real estate text scammers we have in our metro area.

But instead, programs the call to go to my Autobot software, which gives them back a taste of their own medicine, which is of course to keep you.
