They have a recorded call, telling you they are from some company, but make the sound fuzzy when they say the name of the company so you think they actually gave a real name and assume it is a company who has any business calling you. Don't know what their angle is, but I think it is probably scammers.

This number called 3x back to back so I answered. The calls came in around 7:30 EST. The guy said his name is Joe and he is calling from a Student Aid Relief program.

wanting you to send money to them for personal items toothpaste, etc. to go to homeless veterans. You give personal information and they will send you a postage paid envelope and this is tax deductible. Didn't give them anything except a no to every question. they hung up on me.
