Voicemail said CVS Specialty Store calling about my account. I have never used CVS and have no account with them. My doc has ordered a Mirena for me but I told her my pharmacy (it is not CVS). I am VERY suspiscous. I did call the number back and it still felt suspicous - I did not give any information. I will call my doc to figure this out. I feel like it is a SCAM.

They called me knowing my full name. Asked my date of birth. Then they didn't ask me my address but my doctors office address so they could ship my Nexaplon there. Already knowing where I go to the doctor at. If it is a scam it's scary how much they know! I asked my doctor and she said she never ordered anything

CVS , it's the specialty pharmacy that your physician uses to order a certain drug, in my case, nexplanon birth control implant. It's expensive, and once shipped, the approximate $1300 cost is wasted, so they are verifying that you do indeed want the prescription and they make you aware of what your insurance covers and what you need to cover. As well as offer to email you the tracking info so you'll know when it's delivered to your doctor's office!! NOT SPAM!!!!! , my doctor had ordered my nexplanon implant, per my request, & this is the pharmacy that was fulfilling the order. so they called to verify my name, DOB ect first (to make sure im me) then to double check that I did in fact want it, went over any out of pocket expenses &/or copays I had & then offered to email the tracking info so I will know as soon as it's delivered.

I spoke with a woman on the phone claiming to be from CVS Specialty Pharmacy. First asked for DOB/name (kind of odd if you already have my number but that is standard CVS policy so started out seemingly normal) and then she wanted to know a delivery address/billing information to send me my medical device. I called the local pharmacy to confirm if they had any info on order and got a phone number which did not match this one. This device shouldn't even be shipping to me but directly to my dr...glad i didnt get caught in this scam!
