DCA (Debt Control Agency) Called my place of work looking for me. Have never given anyone my current work number so literally ZERO idea how they got it. Was told by the person they talked to that they were just as rude as others have reported.. Seems to be an extremely common thing for this company. Any debts I have outstanding have literally nothing to do with them. Absolutely will not tolerate or respond to harassment and insults to me. Let alone to the people who might answer the phone. Crap way to deal with people DCA!

They left a voice message as they are calling from Freedom Mobile and DCA. I called them back asking them who they are. They said debt collector and said a name which was not me. I told them they got the wrong number.

I received a call from a local number starting with 7, I ignored the call and it went to voicemail. On the voicemail they left an automated voice told me they were the dca calling on behalf of my phone company, and named my actual phone company. They told me to call them back at a number that was entirely different than the one that the call had originally come from, they told me to call 866-260-8950 and use some reference number. So I contacted my cell company and asked them about it. I didn't think it was legit since I always pay my bills on time so I have no outstanding debts with my cell company, or any other company for that matter. But I was just curious how these shady people got my cell company info, and also wanted to notify my phone company about the false claims these guys were making about their company. It is obviously very fishy behavior though. Just ignore it.

DCA calls and I have tried to explain that bankruptcy trustee would contact them as was already 7 years ago. Do not answer or engage these sub human bottom feeders. NO legal recourse for them except harassment calls.

Endless phone calls, rude and threatening. Claim to be a debt collection company DCA, they are NOT. Claimed we owed over $200 to a Canadian mobility company (which we've never dealt with) and because of that we should pay them over $1000 to make them go away.

They first called and left a message from Just Energy with a file number. When we spoke a second time, the person identified as a debt collector company. I told thrm zero information said they had a wrong number obviously and they hung up. Don't know what they are scamming but number is now blocked. Do not give any info and don't answer.

Calling on behalf of just energy because I owe them $17 apparently. I've never used just energy. Then they hung up on me. Pretty sure this is a scam of some sorts.
