Caller said he was from FPL and had an order to shut my electric off for non-payment. As I was speaking to him, I brought my account up from FPL that showed a $0.00. He continued to try to convince me that my electric was going to be shut off and that I should call their billing department and make a payment. TOTAL SCAM!!!!! FPL DOES NOT WORK LIKE THIS!!!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING. IF YOU SUSPECT THIS IS NOT KOSHER, HANG UP AND CALL FPL DIRECTLY. GIVE OUT NO INFORMATION!!!!

Said they were from FPL shutting off service for non payment calling saying they were shutting off our power in 30-45 minutes for non payment then when I asked the account number they were calling for she said she does not have that information and they gave me a number for me to call 1800-350-0679

Male caller, said from FPL coming out to disconnect service within 30 to 45 mins. And when I argued he said to call 800-471-2630 at FPL billing and service and she would get back in touch and cancel the order to disconnect I called FPL directly and they said no one would be out to disconnect the service, please report it to the local authorities with phone numbers.

they called my daughter who doesn't live in my house and told her we haven't been paying our FPL bill. If they didn't receive money they would turn off power. They wanted her to call back at a certain number. she hung up.
