Unused Vacation Package (Scam call) reported by


The Lady said she was calling from Recovery Options. She said that we had purchased a vacation package and because we hadn't booked our tour vacation, the issuing company charging us $998. That the company is allowed to do this because it is in our verbal contract. I told them I never purchased a vacation package and they got nasty and said they would report it on my credit report. Manager called back and apologized for first callers rudeness said they were just trying to help me from having it reported on my credit. Even offered to make it expiration free for less money.

I received a call and said I purchased a timeshare tour and because I never came to tour I had to pay for my guest ticket that was discounted for the original tour that I never attend. They will pursue legal actions, Island Vacations Resort or something, who has taken over for Royal Seas Cruises. Said, I would have to pay 1498.00 to get out of it and they can get it down to 398.00 if I took care of it today. Stating that Trump new laws for Covid are allowing them to cut the price. Oh and they will send documents to my financial institute to receive their money. If I didn’t take the offer. Then they will put my number on the federal do not call list so I will not receive anymore offers. GREAT! When I told her I will investigate the company further and I will not be giving them any money she disconnected.

I got the same call and said they will pursue legal actions, Island Vacations Resort or something, who has taken over for Royal Seas Cruises.
