I called my bank first to check if it’s legit, fraud protection number, the agent confirmed it and transfer me to this number for details.

I didnt immediately answer the phone call, but listen to the voicemail. Vague call with an immediate call back request with a case number or I can use my card number. I chose to use the case number when calling back. The number provided it was arrowhead and to go forward I would need to verify my last 4, I did. It read the suspected fruad charge and I was unsure so I was able to speak to a rep. The system automatically saved my verification and the rep didnt need to verify anything. The rep went over the fraud charge and it was automatically declined for NSF. My card was close and I was given a new number for customer service to order a new card.

Got a call,I missed it,called the credit union and they verified it was indeed their fraud service.I had a 6 dollar charge to wpy*saving mila,and somebody tried to charge an 880 dollar airline ticket.The CU has put a block on my card,mila is being disputed and the aitline charge was denied.Im off to ArrowheadCu right now to get my new card.IF you are uncomfortable with the call center,just call the CU,they will handle it and you will be comfortable this isnt a scam.BTW,CU asked me for my name,DOB,last 4 of social number,asked my acct balance,if I get direct deposits.After that BINGO,they told me of suspicious charges,and handled it. I wonder if this has to do with the Experian Credit Bureau data theft????

The first time they called I was asleep, so I called back. first it was a robot telling me the last 4 digits of my card and telling me that there was some suspicious activity on my card, and then to press 1— so I did. then the call brung me to a lady saying me to verify the last 4 of my social and my address. then she told me which part was suspicious because I just got paid and I was shopping like crazy lol. so she was right about the mysterious charge because ive never shopped there before and it’s kinda unknown website. Anyways I told her it was me and she said ok my account doesn’t have a block anymore and I could use it again. So this number is definitely legitimate. I called my arrowhead credit union just to make sure and they said yes it was legit.
