Called and asked for my DOB, when I asked what company they were supposedly collecting for, they said they couldn't tell me until I provided my DOB, so I hung up.

These people have called over 150 times. They claim I contacted for help with drug abuse. Not true! They will not stop calling even though I've had them blocked for 3 months they are still trying. I've asked them to stop but they will not!

Why is a US company calling numbers in Canada? (Unsolicited call) reported by


Unsolicited calls are only answered by my answering service recorder. Number identification tell us who is calling! We are on the DO NOT CALL LIST here in Canada, but that only applies to Canadian companies - doesn't stop these nuisance calls from US companies. We don't understand why they call into Canada, they have no business here so they must not monitor if their calls are answered by a human. I can only assume those in the company making these calls are not too bright! Typing their phone number into the net tells us who they, but there doesn't seem to be a way of stopping them or even discouraging them. It would appear a better business bureau just does not exist in the state where these calls are origination (866) !
