VZW Debt Deal (Debt collector) reported by


Person calls me with a thick accent (middle Eastern), says he is calling from Jefferson Capital. Offers a lower payoff deal on my debt; deal is $350. I tell him I cannot do it today, he then drops it to $275 as long as I promise to give my bank information tomorrow when he calls. First of all, he lowered the amount too fast, he did not ask me to verify any of my information, he said HE is the mgr in charge of my account and the only one that can help me. It doesn't sound legit to me!
