EXTREMELY rude debt collection company called ACT. (Debt collector) reported by


It's a debt collection company for JC Penny, and they are extremely rude. They call at all hours of the day and night. I receive calls as early as 6:30 in the morning and as late as 11:00 pm. When you answer, no one says anything. This will happen 5-6 times before anyone says a word. I have paid the bill in question but they insist I have not. When I try to have them pull up my account to prove it, the man on the other line gets extremely aggravated and hangs up. They ARE American. It's not a scam call, they're just rude and clearly don't know how to do their job. You can block the caller directly from your phone. Being on the national do not call list will not deter debt collectors. Pay your bills Good luck
