I returned a call from this number. I was clear and up front about not having an existing account. The person asked me several times "If you are applying to a credit card how do you write your name". I did not give them my SSN in the automated section of the call. I do not believe this was Wal-Mart. If it was they need to train these people.

Appeared as "United States", recording says "Final call in reference to your credit card account, press 1". pressed 1. Call transfers to operator with poor English, background is noisy like a call center, "Hi, this is (inaudible) are you here to lower your credit rates?" , I answer "Yes, what is the name of your company?" The call was disconnected without answer to my question. By the way, I have been credit free for 9 years!
