Poor Quality Follow-Up Service from CVS CareMark (Company) reported by


Ostensibly CVS CareMark regarding Prescription Mail Order Information, however they can trace the correct first and last name back to the phone number (easy enough) but required your Date of Birth, Zip Code and Last Medication Received (over a year ago?) to give you any more information "for your privacy and protection" (LOL) They call and hang-up. When you call back, it usually hangs-up, but the one time I did get through an "Operator" Said "Hello" and asked for my name (which i did not give). So - if this is, indeed CVS CareMark - they need to train their people to(1) Leave Messages; (2) Identify themselves and the company when one calls; (3) come-across as less 'shady' when they claim to be following-up on an order and i have not had their insurance for over a year. I get enough calls from US_domestic numbers with people that have heavy Hindi accents telling me the IRS is pursuing me for a Tax issue and/or that my insurance company is questioning a claim, because "Ew hab Die-eh-be-dees? Yes?" Ummm ... NO! Fraud is everywhere ... and people will scam any time they can get the 3-5 pieces of info it takes to create a fake identity. So - if CVS CareMark and/or any legitimate company is really using a Third Party Vendor or calling directly - they had better start doing it more "Professionally" and making it seem less sketchy!
