caller says they are BCBS and can save me money. robocal....scam. Because of the data breach in late January, 2015, Anthem would be conducting all future correspondences through the mail. Anthem policy holders should never give their information to anyone over the phone that calls them.

Left message to call back. They call frequently to offer services like questions about medications, medical treatments etc. I've told them to put my number on their Do Not Call List but they keep calling so I don't answer calls from them anymore.

Computer voice left a message using my real name. Said had information about a valuable health care service and that "this is not a sales call". Left a different number and extension to call back said that if I did not want to receive calls of this nature anymore to call back the original number. My healthcare provider is Anthem, so I suspect this might have actually been Anthem or somebody who had hacked or been sold their records. I declined to call back since I handle all of my health insurance issues online through Anthem's website or their official app

She said she was from Anthem Blue Cross and wanted to offer me some sort of health program. But she needed my date of birth before she could continue with the call. I told her no, I would not give her that. She said if I gave her the year I was born then she would give me the month and date and I would just need to confirm. She did have my actual birth date but I would not confirm if it was correct. She was very interested in my date of birth. She asked numerous times if it was correct before I eventually hung up. Not sure if she was legitimate or not. I'm leaning towards not.

NYC Healthline Case Management (Company) reported by


Person stated to be a nurse practitioner hired by Blue Cross Blue Shield case management. She wanted to know how my son’s hospital visit went and offered her name and number to call her if I had any questions about his visit or medication. I blocked my number and called back and it said NYC Healthline Case Management during off hours (after 8pm). To confirm, I will call my insurance company tomorrow and ask about this giving them this number and name of person if needed to confirm if its legit.
