I hope the "Should I Answer?" app will succeed where other similar apps have failed and block all attempts to contact me from this number. An online search re calls originating from this number provides that the caller is/is related to "CIBC collections". The voice mail messages left by calls from this number provides that the caller seeks to collect an unpaid debt allegedly owed by someone who is not me and whose name I do not recognize. UPDATE: I identified this number as "negative" in "Should I Answer?". I wrote that I hoped the "Should I Answer?" app would succeed where other similar apps have failed and block all attempts to contact me from this number. On Sept 29 I received a call from 866-865-2422. So ... it appears the "Should I Answer?" app is NOT all that it purports to be ... which is a source of disappointment.

These people phone me 5 times a day, for $100 from 12 years ago, which i believe is illegal in ontario

Don't admit the debt or it will become current again and be able to be actionable through collections, this firm is well known for buying old debts old being after the 2 year statute to 20 years plus. block their number ther is nothing they can do if you do not admit the debt.
