This number called saying they were from fraud sept. Sounded legit since I reported fraud earlier that day on my credit card. I am sorry to say I did verify some info because they had my info. At the end of the call I had a bad feeling. My mistake. They even tried to get my new card rerouted to a different address. WF put a hold on new card. Went to bank and bank manager got real fraud Dept on home an got it all taken care of. I now have extra restrictions on my newest card #3. Two previous cards terminated. Ruthless peopke out there. I have learned my lesson and pray I don’t have more problems.

they called and wanted my 'full' account number or 'full' card number , i told them no that i would call them back and i asked them for a case number belonging to why they called , they gave me a phone number and a case number . i will call WF

The guy said it was Wells Fargo fraud dept and that someone trued to access my account. He was going to help me freeze my account and get a new card. Asked for address, etc. luckily I didn’t give him anything he sounded shady was really pushy it didn’t sound right so I hung up and called Wells Fargo and they said it wasn’t them.

I missed the call buy a few minutes and I called Wells Fargo directly rather than through the number they suggested and ask them if this was a real number considering I don't even have a Wells Fargo account Wells Fargo confirm that that was a number that is a scam just trying to get your information
