Caller claims to be National Grid. Being harrassed by this call constantly. Called National Grid, our electric and gas supplier, and they are not the responsible party. This call is from one of these useless " we will save you 20%" on your electrical bill " scammers. They are full of what makes the grass grow green and will actually make your bill higher. Do answer and block if you can. I certainly did.

They claim to be National Grid, but they didn't have anywhere close to the correct name. Also, there's no way I have a National Grid account given I don't pay power bills. Also also, the number doesn't appear to be on any National Grid site. Please don't give up your info.

I think it was a scammer, because others said it was collections call from national grid, but I know my balance is zero. the call disappeared before I could answer.

I happened to have called National grid the day before so I didn't think anything of it. They asked for the last 4 of my ss# then hung up after I keyed it in. Called the number back in the middle of the day and get a message saying is out of their normal business hours :(

Dropped the phone when I picked up so I only heard ...National Grid. Then when I got the phone back they said we have a message for (my name) regarding a payment plan for your past due account. And the thing is, my account IS past due so I was like great I can work something out with them and stupidly put in last 4 of my SS. Then it said "Connecting you to representative," and the call dropped. Called back and got a recorded message saying "You have called after business hours, please call during regular business hours" and the call drops. They don't mention any name or any hours so clearly a scam. And I was dumb enough to fall for it. Hope they can't do much with the last 4 of my SS...
