I did the same thing but unfortunately left my work number for the a phone number. They have not quit harassing me! This should be illegal.

After 10 calls and texts all in the same day I called them. They claim to be HealthRight offering assistance with 'pain' and they say that I requested a call - I definitely did not!

Hello, At 9:59AM Eastern I received a call from 1-866-889-9217 to my Ithaca/607 based cell phone number, as we are currently dealing with me losing my job, joining medicaid, and the Early Intervention program for our daughter I took the call. They actually asked for my wife who is not associated with this phone number, not even the same area code. They said they were calling from Health NY to speak to her. The individual would not give their name, but said that we had indicated that I (Ben) had put down pain on some form we had submitted (true), they were trying to prescribe and mail me medications for a knee injury that is making it difficult to get in and out of cars and go down stairs. We still thought at this point that it was Health NY, as we are finding places in CNY (Seneca County) scheduling weeks and weeks out, and this was a service to call. When asked for our insurance information, I said that we has selected Blue Cross Excellus, which started today, which is why we though this might be a legitimate service. We were informed that they do not serve medicaid patients but that we should use their website http://www.healthline.com/. So they were impersonating either a state or federal employee (Health NY/ACA), collecting HIPAA information: they asked about insurance, injuries, drugs, etc. And then ended up being either a telemarketing/information collecting scam or a for-profit pill mill, it sounded like they wanted to mail me opioids for arthritis. The call lasted 6 minutes and 23 seconds, and when they found out we were on Medicaid/Excellus they wanted to know about ANY other possible insurance we may have, when she learned we had none, she basically said, please use our website (HealthLine.com) and hung up as fast as possible, likely to call the next victim.
