Two calls, one voicemail, no talking (Silent call) reported by


This number called my phone twice. Both times I answered (due to it appearing as if Bell was calling), however, there was no one speaking on the other end. They then proceeded to leave a minute long message of nothing but the sound of breathing and rustling paper, the number has since been blocked but I strongly suspect it was a scam number hoping for me to call them back.

Nuisance call (Silent call) reported by


I received a call from this number and answered it because it came up as Bell Canada. The call lasted all of 7 seconds and no one said anything on the other end. Just dead air. I called the number back and got through to Bell Mobility, who proceeded to tell me that my account doesn't show a call from that number. They went on to tell me that the number isn't part of their system, even though I used it to call them back. Bell had no way to resolve this issue and left me wondering if I maybe gave my PIN out to some clever scam artist. Seemed like quite an elaborate set-up, so I doubt it, but does this mean I'll keep getting crank calls from Bell?

i called bell from a legitiame number and had them confirm the number is fake. It has been reported to their fraud department. DO NOT take a survey or give them ANY personal information.

I told the caller I was on "do not call list". Was told that didn't matter because they were a Bell affiliate and their "survey" was to see if I needed an upgrade. I told the caller "Thank you, but I will not be talking to you. Goodbye" I was planning to renew my Bell/MTS plan when it expires in a few months... going to look into competitors now.

I received a series of Bogas computer voice calls in the last day or so from numbers, 1 -416-029-2578, 519 404-9679, 519-404-409?, 519-404-4235 east claiming to be the security department from Service Canada, and to press 1 to be connected to a security representative since this was the last call attempt before they were going to arrest me for something? This Bell Canada call coming on the tail of these other Bogas calls leads me to think they might be related. If someone could look into this and trace these numbers, perhaps there are people out there who might be vulnerable to who ever is trying to contact this way; I would suspect they are up to no good.
